Executive Chairman, Blibros Capital Partners and Former CEO Singapore Exchange, Singapore
Magnus Böcker is the Executive Chairman in Blibros Capital Partners and is a former CEO of the Singapore Exchange from 2009 to 2015. He has three decades of leadership experience in the financial industry, including being President of Nasdaq, spearheading the creation of OMX, the Nordic exchange and technology group, and subsequently playing a key role in the merger of OMX and Nasdaq in 2008.
During his tenure with OMX, Magnus served in various capacities, including as CFO, COO and president of the OMX Technology division, before he became CEO of OMX in 2003. Under his leadership, OMX became the world’s largest provider of technology solutions for exchanges and clearing organisations.
Magnus is a member of the Shanghai International Financial Advisory Council, World Federation of Exchanges, council of the Institute of Banking and Finance in Singapore, Singapore Business Federation and sits on the advisory board of the Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics at Singapore Management University.
He has also been a member of The Mount Sinai Surgery Advisory Board in New York as well as in a number of public companies and private equity investments, including Orc Software and the Dustin Group.
