Jun Liu serves as a researcher at the Strategic Planning Committee at China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC).
His research areas include, among others, securities offering systems, mergers and acquisitions involving public companies and banking and finance. He is a member of the drafting team for reforming Chinese securities offering system.
Prior to joining CSRC, Liu practiced law at several leading US and Chinese law firms for nine years. He represented startups, venture capitals, corporations and banks in IPOs, bond offerings, M&A and financing transactions.
Liu obtained his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Duke Law School (US) in 2005 and his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Peking University (China) in 1996.
